OMG ...this is the most beautiful, pretty, elegant, classy, feminine fragrance ever...So many gorgeous flowers... The lilac in this perfume is so delicate and creamy. I can't understand why Guerlain would discontinue this perfume as it has more positive reviews than any of their other fragrances. I would love for this fragrance to be re-introduced. Online prices for this are crazy... £140 for 50ml. I am too afraid to use mine in case it runs out and I couldn't afford another bottle.

So happy I kept this perfume. It’s a soft, dreamy honeyed lilac. Very close to realistic smell, especially of white or pink lilacs. So nicely done that it does not smell synthetic at all. It’s very difficult to capture the smell of lilacs in perfume, but this one has done it. The fragrance itself has a very comforting, soothing vibe that is a bit nostalgic these days. Very classy, pearls and pretty blouse, pleated skirt and the pianist playing Chopin in the background while you’re reading a book. Outside it’s raining and the lilac blossom fills the air. My kind of paradise if it ever exists again. I also would recommend trying Cleopatra by Tocca, if you would like a similar to this perfume or something with a similar classy vibe (that has not been discontinued). Cleopatra could make a great signature scent with that very classic profile of a conservative white floral.
It is not a safe blind buy however; initial spray was a bit unpleasant on me, but when it settled, it smelled like lilacs.

I'm so happy I gave this one a second chance! I initially liked it but found there was something annoying in the dry down, which I can no longer pick up thank God! Beautiful realistic lilacs <3

I've been married for over 20 years, but if I were to do it over again, this would be my wedding day scent. It's so soft and classy. The lilac is easy, like you're walking by a bush and not like you have your face buried in it. Sillage and longevity are decent (5-6 hours). It's just pretty, and I like the way it makes me feel when I wear it.

This was such a risky blind buy for me. I was eyeing this for a while because the notes sound so pretty and I love lilac, but had doubts because Idylle EDP looks like something I really wouldn't like. Lily of the valley and I don't get along, and anything similar to Narciso Rodriguez For Her usually turns too dirty on my skin. I hesitantly tried Idylle on a blotter, and surprisingly I liked it. Only Guerlain can do such magic! So I finally got me a bottle of Love Blossom on Ebay.

Wow, this is really beautiful! What a soft and pretty honeyed lilac note, what a light and dewy rose. I'm not going to lie, there is some of that NR musky vibe in this, but it's softened by the florals and feels very polished and chic, so even I can wear it. The musk adds some sensuality to this otherwise demure floral, which is so good. A perfect balance of pure and just a little sultry.
I agree with the voting that this is super fitting for spring, but the base adds enough depth to wear it in fall, too. It might not be the best choice for hot summer days, but this is also a matter of how your skin deals with musky fragrances.
I'm happy I took the plunge and am excited to wear it often when summer is over. I will also explore the other Idylles more.

This smells like real lilacs in my garden. I have searched for something likes this for a long time. It is long lasting and beautiful. Couldn't be happier with this purchase - definitely a keeper.

When I decided I wanted an Idylle perfume I was looking at both Jasmin Lilas and this one because I LOVE lilac. Across the board the recommendations were for Jasmin Lilas as having the stronger lilac notes. I bought both perfumes and I’m so glad I did because for me, Jasmin Lilas is a stronger JASMINE although I do recognize the lilac, the jasmine overpowers it... it’s very strong, it really punches you in the nose lol Now that I’m trying Love Blossom I’m so glad I bought both because I definitely prefer Love Blossom although these are both worth having. Love Blossom is a bit softer, with a more romantic/dreamy vibe. I get more lilac then jasmine. That softly honeyed sweetness... it’s spring in a bottle. Definitely recalls Champs Elysees for me, minus the fruit and loaded with MUSK. These scents also remind me of SJP Lovely or Narciso EDT but much better then either. Pretty good silage not as strong as Jasmin Lilas through more towards the moderate side.

Beautiful. I pick up more rose than lilac. Very soft comforting perfume. Perfect. I love it.

A sweet Guerlain, the "sweet" note should be right under floral with honey on top.
Nice hypnotic sweetness that makes me keep smelling it.
Not for office but not heavy.
Has some commonality with Champs Elysees (flower and musk) but the major difference is the freshness of citrus which Idylle Blossom replaced it with honey.
I like it but could not wear often. I would prefer more lilac and less honey.
Nevertheless, another fantastic creation of Guerlain.

Very pretty scent. It’s fresh and has a prominent lilac scent. I like this better than the original Idylle edp. Last about 5-6 hours on my skin which is reasonable considering it’s an edt.

I initially thought this wouldn't be too different from the original but I was completely wrong. The opening is similar and I worried but then, about a minute later, the vintage aspects that lilac can impart on a fragrance started to appear. For people who don't like Idylle because they found it to be too fruity, Love Blossom enters. Removing the juicyness and instead bringing a little bit of sweet honey and a mild jasmine with that ever intriguing vintage lilac mixed with the familiar musky backbone of the original. It's hard to say, but I could already say that I see myself enjoying this more than Idylle EdP and that's ... hard. I really detect something that my grandmother wore in this and it's beautiful.

Idylle Love Blossom is spring in a bottle, my favorite spring fragrance, for me the best from the Idylle line. Cheerful, warm and realistic lilac dominated scent with well blended rose and honey. The green note helps to stay fresh. Much lesser overwhelming than the mother scent, easy to wear. This is a very romantic scent.

Gemfan

The opening is all lilac. Intoxicating in that way that a good dose of lilac always is. I love it, it wakes you right up! Nice how a flower can do what often a squeeze of citrus does, to give you that kick start to the day. Very soon it mellows en mingles with what seems to me a lot of muscs and some soft woods. The flowers become "yellow", mimosa-like. I feel similarities to the Narciso DNA but especially Habanita L'Esprit, in which musc and mimosa are big players. Love Blossom is not as loud as Habanita L'Esprit, I like Love Blossom better, find it more wearable, although it behaves like a kick start straight into base/dry down territory. First kiss, great epilogue, no getting to know each other. All fine with me.

Pari88

Lilac is heavy upon first spray. It quickly starts to mingle with the honey and become slightly sweet; beautiful. As it settles into skin, it morphs into a musky lilac with just a tinge of honey. A very easy to wear but lovely sweet lilac musk.
It evokes a garden on a rainy day. It’s just lovely. People will compliment you with this.

This is perfect for humid weather in the spring summer and fall. I love it

I really like the drydown of this perfume. It's quite lovely! Lots of lilac to enjoy. I was a bad girl and blind bought this perfume.

The opening is harsh on me (my husband says it smells like nail polish remover), but the dry down is where this perfume shines. It has really great longevity as a skin scent and sprayed on clothing. I spray myself at night a few hours before bed and I can still smell this lovely perfume in the mornings. -

It wasn't in my realm, it doesn't fit with my perfumed profile but the exception proves the rule. Actually this is lovely and in the cooler conditions of our autumn it's been delightful to wear. I made the happy mistake of spraying myself with this after forgetting that I already had 'Love Chloe' on. They combined beautifully, being of the same ilk. Love Blossom is the sell off of 'Jasmin Lilas' Duet, it isn't really a poorly thought out airport fragrance at all. There's a really nice jasmin in this with the Lilac being prominent at the beginning, in fact I would put the jasmin up there with Giorgio Armani's Eclat de Jasmin, but it's not as generous. It's floral, it's easy to love and it's just what you might reach for when your energy for difficult perfumes is at an end and you need a break.

A very realistic honey. Honey of the flowers in a field. Soft, warm, skin scent. Has not so much common with the original Idyll or with other flankers, maybe with the Duett. But the quality and refinement are the same.

This was a blind buy for me and at that point I hadn't smelled the original. It is very strong lilac, I can smell the honey too, not so much the rose. A very sentimental scent to me that takes me back to my childhood and the lilac we used to have in the garden. I am glad it wasn't synthetic at all but a very truthful lilac. I would say it is very romantic and gentle, reminds me of spring, which is the only time I wear it. Not to say it can't be work all year around but it is a very special scent to me. I wanted to get Gucci Guilty Black for ages, but after I got ILB I just can't justify it.
Quality is great, very long lasting on my skin with moderate sillage. And what a beautiful bottle-probably the only gold bottle I don't find tacky.

gtabasso

a very pretty light floral for spring with the typical Guerlainade base; there must be vanilla in here, it's a note you can smell, but this is dominated by very green lilac, rose and jasmine; not sweet but aldehydic, crisp and a tad musky

At the risk of sounding ridiculous, this perfume smells like a perfect, imaginary mother, which is the highest compliment I could pay. I feel like I’m five years old and my mother is this young, beautiful, soft, nurturing, loving woman I can look up to as someone to emulate. She radiates golden, feminine warmth and wearing it makes me feel the same way as a woman. Sorry if that’s too much.

I came across this fragrance when I was looking for a lilac perfume that wasn’t overpoweringly lilac but still discernibly lilac. I love lilac, but it can be too sharp to my nose at times. The rose and honey really mellow it out once the sweetness of the honey settles into the background. It is very sweet at the opening, so unless you love honey be prepared. I can’t say I smell the original Idylle in it, that one is very green to me. This is the opposite. I want to say powdery, but it’s really not powdery at all. It’s the honey so well blended with the florals. I’m disappointed it was limited edition. I’ll have to get a couple of bottles as backups I like it that much.

Unluckily I own a bit older version and I already feel the age of it :(
It turns a bit masculine on me...One guy gave me a big compliment while I was wearing it and I told him that I was not sure if it fitted me and he said: "If you don´t like it, I will buy it from you for myself...I consider it unisex"
:)

SO ...
it´s complimented one,,
but not gentle one :)
It´s beautiful, but it´s not me

This was a blind buy for me based on all the positive reviews. I do like the original Idylle EDP. This bears only a slight resemblance in that the main rose-LOTV bouquet that Idylle is built around is buried in here. Otherwise, I smell a predominant powdery,honey-sweetened lilac and what smells like heliotrope since I smell a vague play-dough note hovering, especially in the first 20 minutes.
It's all very soft and feminine. Projection is quite low and I can smell it 7 hours later, but only with my nose pressed to my wrist. It's pretty and inoffensive, innocent and calls to mind an impressionist painting in muted pastels. More sentimental than romantic. But it doesn't really wow me. But, for the minimal expense, it's nicely done, not harsh or too chemically as some of today's mainstreams can be. I'll probably end up using it as a bedtime scent. UPDATE: This has gone from like to love and I could easily wear this for several days in a row, but I have so much gosh darned perfume, that would seem irresponsible

Light, good longevity for EDT, lilacs is noticeable, has Idylle orifinal base. Glad I got it, it is my 3 bottle of Idylle series. Good for warmer season, very recommended as it is discontinued and on sale for 30$ now.

Gemini12

I adore Idylle Love Blossom. There's no denying the Idylle DNA here, but the rose and lilac are more prominent than in the original. Love Blossom is lighter, fresher and easier to wear than the original, so this has become my warm weather version of Idylle. I'm so happy that I was able to add this to my Idylle collection.

Mrs. Do Son

I enjoy floral perfumes others find overpowering so it's no surprise that I'm regretting this blind buy and wishing I had trusted my gut to get the original.

Love Blossom would be a big win if I could smell it on myself after a good spray. A reviewer commented below that she needed to respray after three hours but in my experience this perfume will only stay on me for 30 minutes- and that's a stretch goal.

Fact: I sprayed this once on *clothing* and the scent was mostly gone on my shirt the next day. My perfumes tend to last indefinitely on clothing until washed.

Really lovely scent though, just wish it lasted on me.

This is a piece of art. I love this Idylle edition. It is so soft, subtle, warm, delicate, but yet detectable. The lilac with the honey play an amazing role in this fragrance. My absolute favorite discovery last year.

mrsg34

Now this is a lovely floral, I don't care much for the original but this one is a softer, more wearable version, the lilac is lovely combined with jasmine and woody notes, very pretty daytime scent for me.

kbot

Lucky to have bought their last bottle of this at duty free on a recent trip. This is the version of Idylle that I can actually wear all day or evening long, without it becoming overwhelming. It is younger, fresher, but still Idylle and still absolutely glamorous.

OMG!!! I'm in looove with this "love blossom"!!!!
I somehow missed this edition but last week while being at the airport i've seen it and tested it. So i do not like the original "Idylle" that much, however i do love the "duet jasmine-lilas" edition, and i must say "love blossom" is a softer and more shy sister of "jasmine-lilas". I get a picture in my head of an extremely hot day in a lilac blooming garden. This is an impressive combo of a very concentrated lilac and jasmine and musk. I get a sense of a dusty hot lilac smell on my skin, im so in love and can't stop sniffing my wrist. I do not have to actually, since the sillage is more than enough!
Opens up with a blast of lilac, rose abd jasmine, then i smell a syropy rose and a trace of liquid honey. I do smell a strong musk and lilac combo in the drydown as well. The whole combination is simply amazing, right up to my alley. Now if only i get a chance to get it next time, ill be more than lucky!!!!

Cheekypossum

Opens with a blast of lilacs and fresh jasmine, maturely sweet, not candy sweet, followed by a very soft musky lilac-ey.., woody notes. The soft base notes is very addictive, feminine, very soft and never offensive. This one is good for all ages.

Stay for around 3 hrs or a bit more on my skin, but its okay, I love to respray cause it's very refreshing. Beautiful perfume, bottle is nice, wonderful for winter.

I wish I could explain more about this perfume to you, but English isn't my first language.
Enjoy your fragrance quest!

wayway2hotinaz

Happy my husband brought me home Love Blossom from a trip to Israel. It was on my wish list. And, I now own an Idylle! Opens with lilac, very strong, and beautiful. I don't detect honey; I wish I did. Just pure floral.
