Everybody has been losing their minds over this damn show and rushing to declare it as incredible or absolute worst show of all time despite having only two episodes out. Hell, people were rushing to do that even before it came out. Because anything new of any particular notoriety HAS to be one extreme or the other, at least as far as the internet is concerned. Something just being okay, something just being average? That's just not a thing anymore. We've got to take a comb to every f**king second of the entire stupid series to try and find any potential problem, including ones nobody buys that anyone actually f**king cares about, like twins having nearly identical hair.

The Acolyte can't just be "a thing" and then everyone moves on with their day. No, because it has name recognition we have to form the strongest opinions we can of it right away and we need to make sure that everybody else knows what those opinions are, especially if there's a risk that they may dare hold the opposite opinion.

Sure I do see some similarities in his way of speaking during RoTS but it still seems like quite a big jump. It could be just getting older and wiser while basking in his pain, but a part of me can't shake the thought of Palpatine making this dude study the art of speaking
